Working with the amazing team at ODD New York I designed some explanatory scenes for the new documentary film Stars And Strife: A documentary about how an epidemic of hatred has left America helpless in the face of crisis. In the film, a lot of complex political and economical concepts are discussed, so there was a clear need for graphics to help illustrate these. We had a lot of fun coming up with ways to illustrate sometimes very abstract concepts, and came up with a look that added a slightly comedic flair to topics that can otherwise feel quite dry.
