In April 2017 myself and the team I worked with received Daytime Emmy Awards for Main Title and Graphic Design for our work on Season 5 of The Mind of a Chef on PBS. The show follows some of the best and brightest culinary minds, narrated by Anthony Bourdain.
I worked on season 2-5 of the show at various lengths, creating animated interstitials and longer animated pieces to illustrate stories being told. This piece was in Season 5 in which Chef Ludo Lefebvre describes his relationship with the Bistro lifestyle when he was growing up in Paris. I worked with fellow designers, Naoko Saito-Teti and Daniel De Graaf to illustrate and animate this piece in the space of 2-3 weeks.
