New York Renews seeks a sustainable future for the Earth and its people by recognizing the threats that climate change represent and working to address those threats by bringing passionate local communities and organizations together to fight it.
In 2024, I created this artwork to represent the 5 projects in the proposal for the Projects of the People’s Climate Justice Budget: The BQ Green, Bronx Waterfront, Climate Farming Solutions, Sustainable Workforce Training and La Finca (Climate Resiliency Hub). Each project is represented as a puzzle piece that all come together to fit into the shape of New York State.
